you’re invited to txotx!
2025
basque country edition

april 9 - 11

Come straight to the source and find out why Son of Man exists.

Son of Man - aka Ella and Jasper - would like to invite you to come on the most epic, hedonistic, love-filled adventure you’ve ever experienced.

Three days in the heart of Basque cider country.

Limitless amounts of cider flowing straight from the barrel (Kupela if we’re using the correct nomenclature).

Raucous meals deep in the bowels of the world's best ciderhouses.

More pintxos, tortilla and anchovies than you could eat in a lifetime.

Plus maybe a day enjoying a beautiful beach or two.

Bucolic verdant hills covered in orchards and grazing sheep.

Some amazing wine, cured pork and sheep’s cheese, and (who would have guessed?) a craft beer or two.

Join Club Sagardo for access to tickets.

Logistics:

How to get there:

  • Bilbao: flights to Bilbao tend to be the cheapest. You can rent a car at the airport or take a bus or train to San Sebastián

  • San Sebastián: there is a small airport in San Sebastián with daily puddle jumpers from Madrid and various other airports

  • Biarritz: Occasionally flights into Biarritz are affordable and you can drive or take public transit to San Sebastián.

Mobility:

  • We highly recommend renting a car. There are so many amazing places to see and visit on the coast, in the countryside or in other cities we think the freedom of a rental car is essential. If you can’t or don’t want to rent a car we will be creating a WhatsApp group for carpooling.

Where to stay:

  • in San Sebastián proper

    • Parte vieja

    • Gros

    • Central neighborhood

  • We recommend staying centrally so that you can enjoy all that San Sebastián has to offer - the walkability is amazing, pintxos bars on every block, the beautiful beaches and shopping if you don’t spend all your money on food and booze!
